Why This Must Be Read:For my last rec of the month: I'm pretty lucky to rec this, and so are you, for lo, I have commissioned fic! Also, Nagi’s been rec’ced already this month, so why not continue the trend? Her writing is fabulous. She happened to be writing 50 Kisses to prompts, and I jumped at the chance to request a Daniel/Vala one, and it is short but so, so sweet and lovely. New fic, just for me, and now, all of you! (So, sue me, I cheated a bit with this rec, and also, two in one day, but I'm a bit worried about my time for the next few days, so sorry. Thanks for bearing with me this month anyway!).

Daniel didn’t answer for a long time. He was thoughtful. He wouldn’t answer lightly. Finally, he said, “That you lived.”

Well, this rec is very sweet, and I am quite surprised lol. The 50 kisses meme is a bunch of fanservice fluff lol (inasmuch as major character death can be fanservice oops). But thank you! I am pleased you liked this fill as much as you did.

Haha! I had ulterior motives when I made my request! But also ... fanservice is kind of the point of fic, isn't it? And it's not like fluff is some kind of lower grade fic--most people consume any type of fiction for the happy ending--otherwise, may as well watch a documentary, I say. *g*

Well, I think a lot of people signed on for that meme for the cute kisses and happy endings and in at least one of those fills there was no happy ending so maybe that was a bit less fanservice-y than usual but I did it for the art. He had to die.
