2019 Stats, and last call for January reccers

Many thanks to braveheartlove, goddess47, mific, and smilebackwards for all their December recs! A special thank-you to newbie reccer braveheartlove . :) We had 17 recs this past month, including my own - a very nice way to finish the calendar year.

Our stats for 2019:

We had 177 recs this past year, which continues the upward trend from 154 recs in '18 and only 134 rec in '17. By the month, recs ranged from a low of nine to a high of twenty. We haven't quite reached the 192 recs of '16 - much less the 250+ of the years before that - but YAY to all you wonderful reccers, from the shiny new ones to the once-in-a-whiles to the lovely regulars who keep the comm ticking so many years after our canon closed. ::squishes all of you thoroughly::

I would like to express my thanks to my fellow mods, annieb and thenightsfall, who do the tagging and memories with quiet efficiency behind the scenes to keep the comm neat and easily navigable.

I will also add a tip of the hat to the readers who click on the links and comment to the authors - and sometimes even to the reccers, which always makes my day!

I don't read as much as I used to and I don't comment nearly enough (or at all!). But I still love this comm and the fact that more than 10 years later (let's conveniently forget SGU!) SG-1 and SGA are still great shows that spawned some fantastic fic.
