Why This Must Be Read: I am torn about recommending this story because not only is this part of a series where only the third story "Secrets" is an SG1 crossover, it is also the only unfinished story in the series (holding at 22 chapters since 2008).

Unfortunately, this story may not make much sense unless you start at the beginning which is pretty daunting task considering the first story clock slightly less than 75,000 words.

Despite all the drawbacks, it is still worth checking it out. It is hilarious but the high levels of vulnerability and strength doesn't show down the fun bits.

In a nutshell, it is a long Xander/Faith-centric crossovers with Law and Order:SVU, Alias and Stargate SG-1 (plus a few oddballs like Gilmore Girls, no, I'm not kidding) work ridiculously logically and with really wonderful characterization (including an adorable gang of OC Slayers and some Watchers) and dialogue.

Even to those of us not terribly familiar with the crossover elements, this will still make you laugh, cry, introspective and then laugh again.

So don't be daunted by the length, take the leap of faith and jump in.

“A cinnamon roll?” Jack said.

“Yes, sir,” Carter mumbled.

“You were taken out by a cinnamon roll?”

“Moving at a very high rate of speed, yes, sir,” Carter responded, a slight touch of irritation edging into her voice. Then she added, “Daniel got taken out by a jelly donut.”

“Lemon,” Daniel agreed coming into the room. “Quite good actually.”

“And not nearly as aerodynamic or as dense as a cinnamon roll,” Carter noted.

“I’ll bear that in mind the next time I plan an assault with pastries,” Jack said.
