The Guy Who Came in From the Cold by danvers (PG-13)

Author's Website: 01100100 - atlantis fanfiction
Link: The Guy Who Came in From the Cold
Why This Must Be Read:
Summary: „This is it?“ he complains, getting nothing but an indifferent and grim look from a man of indeterminate and completely irrelevant military rank as he turns away. „Oh, well, thank you. I always wondered what living in the gulag would be like.“ (4,933 words)
A wonderful story about Rodney slowly coming to terms with his exile in Siberia: funny, insightful, subtle... and effortlessly reconciling that jerk from 48 Hours with our McKay. (And while the Sam Carter in this fic is entirely in Rodney's imagination, their banter is so spot on that she feels somehow present.)
