Elizabeth got three steps from her car.

"Hey, haven't we met somewhere? In another place?" The voice was familiar but she didn't want to believe someone that knew her would be here at the Pentagon.

"I'm sorry you must--" Elizabeth stopped short when she turned. The face was smiling at her as he tucked his hands into the pockets of a very well fitting jean jacket. "Colonel Mitchell," she realized as politely as she could.

"You can call me Cam when I'm out of uniform," he offered generously as he kept his eyes on her face. "I should probably still call you ma'am though, shouldn't I?"
