Okay, best way I can put this is that I have been craving two kinds of fic lately.

Romance
Jack/Jonas

Needless to say, I find it hard to find fic that fits both of those criteria. This one does. And it happens to do so while allowing the men to be themselves. I don't ship Daniel with Jack, but it's implied here and I can go with it because of the ultimate goal. This is a very nice story with romance and a tidbit of angst and mourning. Tis a good read!

Edit: Ok, you'd think the owner of the comm would know better. Hee! Anyway, to read the fic, you do need to register to The Cartouche. Doesn't take but a minute and there's a bunch of wonderful fic there. My bad! ;)

And yeah, it is a pretty cool way to do it. I've got all my fav comms tracking. It's so much easier than going through my flist, as you just noted, and I don't miss anything if I don't get a chance to visit the comm. =)
