Why This Must Be Read: Written for Whumpex 2025, this one was really fun to play around with the concept, what if Carter was turned into a Jaffa by Hathor? I got to explore a few of my Jaffa cultural headcanons and, of course, whump Carter.
“What, what if I do fight it? I could throw this thing across the room right now.” Shivers were already tracing their way up her spine again, and Sam was distantly aware that she must be feverish.
“You would die,” Kalmah’c said matter-of-factly. He expressed neither sympathy nor threat. “The prim’ta has replaced your body’s born healing.”
“It replaces the immune system, I know.” Holy, Hannah, she was going to be stuck with this if she survived the day. “I know.”
