Why This Must Be Read:

 

I love pieces like this. Ones that dig deeper into why characters do what they do. This one, put Daniel's story arch on its head, the first time I read it. Even in reading it again just recently, it made me think again. There is a lot here, in just a few lines. That’s a sign of a good story.
