Why This Must Be Read: Another fantastic Sha're AU (because really, SG-1 writers, there was so much more of her story to tell!) in which Sha're tricks Amaunet into going to Cimmeria... and meets Gairwyn after her passage through the Hammer.

I love how the two of them never connect Gairwyn's "friends from Midgard" with Daniel, husband to Sha're of Abydos. Instead, Sha're and Gairwyn share a comfortable, intelligent friendship, complete with interaction with the Asgard teacher that Thor left behind and interesting speculation on Shifu's fate. Here are two women from completely different cultures, connecting and communicating. Complete with the sweetest of happy endings, this story will leave you with a smile on your face.
