Why this must be read:The story's premise plays with the idea of the IOA not wanting people who are not from Earth living on Atlantis. As a result, Rodney McKay comes up with the plan to marry Ronon Dex so he is officially an Earth citizen. Since they are rushed into this, it is after the ceremony that they get to know each other better. The story is from Ronon's perspective and how he learns about Earth's customs in regards to marriage, etc.
The story is very interesting and I can see both of them behaving in this manner and the author does a very good job of evolving their relationship over the year. It is very touching and sweet.
