Why read it: The author does a good job of drawing a sympathetic, three-dimensional Sara O'Neill, as well as a still-in-love, still-kinda-damaged Jack O'Neill. Their dynamic as a divorced couple is wonderful, and their mutual grief as parents rings very true. The romance is a bit iffy, to me, but pretty cute overall. A solid, interesting read, and one of the best Sara POV stories out there.
If you're particularly interested in Jack/Sara, I recommend many of BadgerGater's stories -- she's one of the few authors to write Jack/Sara as the main pairing, and not just as backstory.
