Why This Must Be Read: Sha're was a fascinating character within both the original movie and later on in the SG-1 series, and I always thought it was a terrible shame that we did not get to see more of her. Scotoma is one of my favorite stories not just because we have an AU where Sha're lives, but becauserydra_wong portrayed Sha're's strength and dignity in a way that is riveting, while also balances it out with the mischievous sense of humor that we were only able to catch glimpses of during her appearances in the series.
