I found this story purely by accident, but I have to say it was pretty funny... well-written... and very on track with Daniel's character.
Summary: Daniel is sent on an off-world mission with SG-3 and SG-11. Some members of SG-3 begin to act rather strange, and Daniel learns that the people of the SGC don't really know him as well as they should.
