Why This Must Be Read: This is a wonderful mixture of mission fic and character studies, centered around Rodney's POV and involving them all, as they figure out what's going on between them and find a way to make it work. The ending may not be quite what you expect but it's satisfying and right for them, and it's just a really great read.

Why This Must Be Read: This is one of Mira's lovely post-apocalyptic stories which is nonetheless, as the title says, unexpectedly happy. Forced by the Wraith to flee Atlantis, the team have formed an extended family and put down roots elsewhere in Pegasus. I love how they've all matured and the lovely complexity of their relationships and the lives they've made. Mira's stories like this one, set in these kind of 'exiled from Atlantis' 'verses aren't straightforwardly happy at all, but to me, they're comfort fic of the best and most real kind.

Why This Must Be Read: This is a short series of 2 fics, combining two of my great favorites - OT4 and slave-fic (also aphrodisiacs and drunk!fic, as a bonus). In the usual 'we'll do anything in the name of trade relations' spirit of SGA, Rodney, John and Ronon become Teyla's slaves off-world at a dinner/orgy. It's hot, yes, and hits a lot of kink buttons, but the dialog is also really great and their characterizations are spot on. A whole lot of fun.

Two SG1 teams one Planet. The mission goes wrong and Jack takes home the wrong Daniel. I love the two different versions of Jack and Daniel One pair who have the experience of being a loving couple and the other pair still oblivious to the others feelings. Yeah Daniel and Jack together…it works.

Why this must be read: The story starts off with Ronon Dex learning about the ways of the Lanteans and how the American military views gay relationships. He soon tells Rodney Mckay and Carson Beckett that he wants to be their "Brother", which has an interesting meaning to Ronon and to the others.

The story has great characterization and an interesting plot. You can definitely see the relationship build between the three of them.

Why this must be read: The story is a great drama story with great character development. It starts with Carson Beckett getting the maintenance gadget attached to him and he can not get it removed from him without having dire consequences. Also, due to the gadget, he is unable to leave Atlantis ever. As a result of the maintenance gadget, Atlantis has not run smoother and they now have an extra supply of ZPMs. Needless to say, it means that the Atlantis crew can go back to Earth for celebration. Well, everyone but Carson. I won't spoil the rest of hte story but it is great. The dialog is great too.

Why this must be read: The plot and characters are great. The supernatural aspects are explained so the reader is able to follow along, even though you may not have heard about the supernatural characters (the author takes some from Sandman Lucifer series and the tv show "Supernatural").

I love re-reading this story. The characters are similar to their cannon, but they have a supernatural aspect to them. In addition, you can definitely see the relationships develop between John Sheppard, Carson Beckett and Rodney McKay.

Why this must be read:I greatly enjoyed the series, even though there is a lot of hurt/comfort and angst. The story starts with John and Rodney being prisoners of Kolya. The story progressed very well and you could see how the various relationships progressed and how out of something evil, came something good.

Why this must be read: IOA invites the front team to Earth so they can meet them and also give the front team some down time. Rodney invites Ronon Dex to stay with him for the fear of acting like an idiot around Teyla. Apparently, on Sateda, the invitation from a male into their home means something different than it does on Earth.

I like the portrayal of Ronon and McKay in this fiction and it shows an interesting bonding between the two of them.
