The Weekly World News. For almost two months after Daniel saw him reading an issue over breakfast in the mess, Teal'c had Daniel absolutely convinced that he took it all seriously. He'd learned early on that his quiet demeanor and restrained speech patterns led people to assume a certain gullibility in him, which he ruthlessly exploited, in part because it gave him some small measure of control in this strange place, and in part because it was very entertaining to torture Daniel Jackson.
