It would be easy to skim over, but there’s no description. It happens to Vala just before we first see her, in the first section when we follow SG1, trapped by Jaffa off world with the SGC not rescuing them. Sam guesses and Daniel guesses as he speaks Goa’uld and overhears the guards. There aren’t any details - I think you’d be okay.
