Why This Must Be Read: This is an interesting and poignant AU where, with Atlantis parked in orbit, Evan and other pilots are doing fly-overs in the puddlejumpers, criss-crossing the surface of a planet. It's intercut with the backstory until it all comes together at the end and we realise what's happened. Powerful - a story you find yourself thinking about for a while afterward.
