Why This Must Be Read: Despite one briefly horrific section after they find the zombies (which you can skip), this is mostly pretty funny, and hot. The writing's excellent and it has plot, great snark, and enough sex to be fun, without being as explicit-focused as some of Shaenie's works. I love all her stories, but this one's a bit different, crackier and lighter in tone, as being partially zombified makes Sheppard (and Carson) smell and taste irresistable to Rodney. An entertaining read, and we can only hope that the two zombie-eaten scientists got the treatment as well.

Why This Must Be Read: This fic has been recced before, but it looks like not since 2009, so more than time to bring it out again. When the story opens, it is the aftermath of a chaotic week at the SGC- missions, attacks, mass confusion. SG-1 gathers to start going over the chain of events, only to find out that Sam is missing. As SG-1 traces where Sam went and what she did, we get to see Sam's adventures unfold, while the team gets increasingly frustrated at not catching up with her. The stakes get higher and the action wilder as the reader wonders if SG-1 will find Sam- before it is too late.
