Why this must be read: Yesterday's theme was kidfic, today it's all about kissing. Ah, there can never be enough kissing! Bluespirit is such a talented writer and artist. In this delightful story she has written a scene that just melts my heart and my bones every time I read it. There's something about the way John gives in, lets his defences drop that I find both endearing and so very hot.

Why this must be read: How do you choose a single story from an author like sheafrotherdon? It's nearly impossible. She moves me to tears and has me laughing out loud. I have no idea how many times I've read her Iowa-verse or her Nantucket-verse. A brilliant writer! I chose this one for two reasons. John and Rodney are so different, yet so compatible. They make each other whole, and Sheafrotherdon shows us how. And there's kissing, too ;)
