Why This Must Be Read: I often felt like there should have been more fallout from the events of season eight's 'Gemini,' but lets face it, repercussions have long been the providence of fanfic, not the show.  That being said, I have rarely seen a fic touch on this theme, particularly both Jack and Sam's mistakes in judgment.  syxp's story tackles this complex idea and does so with typical aplomb.  The fic is short, but layered with great visual detail and subtle understanding of both characters, particularly the idea that body language often communicates louder than words between these two.
