Author's summary: Jack's in Daniel's arms, and although Daniel has an idea about what he'd like to do about it, he's not sure Jack does.
Why This Must Be Read: A classic cabin!fic, 'Minnesota' starts out with an entertaining exchange between Jack and Teal'c (with Daniel trying to mediate) as Teal'c sets out to take Jack's truck on a food run, and a line of dialogue that I fully believe is Teal'c doing an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression. Then it quietly settles into a lovely interlude with Daniel and Jack alone in the tranquil lakeside setting. There's a little bit of longing and uncertainty and angst from Daniel's point of view, the Moment When Everything Changes is gently electrifying, and the fic as a whole is warm and happy-making and just the thing for reading (or re-reading) at the start of a new year. About 3400 words.
