Why This Must Be Read: Carson has had a bad day and Radek is there to comfort him. I just think that Radek and Carson are so sweet together


Radek glanced up from his laptop as Carson entered, seemingly no more surprised at the lateness of the hour than the doctor was to find his lover still awake and working. He flashed him a tired smile and Radek immediately closed down what he was doing and rose to his feet. He pointed to the chair he'd vacated and Carson sank into it gratefully, even more so when Radek rested his chin on his head and began running his hands over Carson's shoulders, knotted tight with tension.

"Do you want to talk about it?" was murmured softly into his hair and he nodded, even as he started to speak.

"We lost one of the Athosians," he said. "It was a freak accident really, she was hunting and fell down a ravine, broke a few ribs, one of which lacerated her lung and her liver."

"That sounds bad."

Carson shrugged, and pulled Radek round from behind him to sit on his lap, wrapping his arms tightly around him.
