Why this must be read: Teal'c and Teyla have a lot in common, being the aliens among the Tau'ri. This short piece shows that Teal'c is able to give Teyla the kind of support and understanding that the Earthlings cannot give her, simply because he was (still is, actually) in the same position.

Summary: Teyla wonders, at times, that one of her dear friends should be a man she's never met, separated from her by unimaginably distant boundaries.
