Link: Should probably read Icing on the Cake first, then Strange Attractors
Why This Must Be Read: There's sex, mutual hurting, and the story broke me up inside. It's ambiguous with a sense of hope. I loved how the story unfolded, John and Rodney's reactions, and her descriptions/dialogue. It also features one of my favorite themes, "alien drugs make (insert character name here) irresistible." It's dark and it doesn't pull it's punches. It'll make you think, possibly debate on if you want a sequel or not. After reading Icing on the Cake this story was definitely a wake up call. For anyone who's had a friend take advantage of them while drunk or on drugs...this story might hit closer to home. It doesn't romantasize anything. It's harsh and real and in my opinion, both guys need therapy.
